Record-breaking delivery of micro-payments and advertising at scale
AdsDax ran a live campaign with Zee Entertainment Enterprises on Hedera Hashgraph to test whether distributed-ledger infrastructure could handle real-world advertising activity at meaningful scale. The campaign used real-time cryptocurrency micropayments for each impression on the ad network, creating a live use case for micro-rewards in advertising.
According to the source page, the campaign helped AdsDax achieve 1,372 cryptocurrency transactions per second, after the company expanded its infrastructure and began running large advertising campaigns with Zee. Hedera described this as the first time distributed-ledger technology had reached this kind of volume in a live, commercial environment.
